study-trader.com is a free on line trading service. study-trader.com
provides only the initial link between buyer and seller and does not
participate in any transaction, nor take possession of an item at any time.
Sign-up and Membership:
Registration is free and open to all persons 16 years or older.
Member Responsibilities:
Upon registration a member assumes responsibility for all activity
connected to his/her user name. study-trader.com is not accountable for
any harm caused to a person or property resulting from a meeting or
transaction arranged because of the website.
A seller acknowledges responsibility for the accurate description of the
item posted for sale. A buyer acknowledges responsibility for acquiring
the accurate description of the item posted for sale. Both buyer and
seller are responsible for using good judgment to complete a sale.
study-trader.com, however, welcomes information regarding a members'
misconduct, in a conscientious effort to maintain a desirable trading
environment.
If a member is found to be in breach of the Rules and Regulations study-trader.com
has the right to remove that member. All members are responsible for their actions which may be punishable under
applicable English Law.
Use of study-trader.com:
Any person entering the study-trader.com website agrees not to
reproduce, post, transfer or backward engineer any print, design, structure
or code. A user may only utilize study-trader.com if clear of any
virus, Trojan or worm that may be transmitted.
User Liability:
If it is necessary for a member to take lawful action against another
member it will be done so free of study-trader.com and without implication.
study-trader.com is relieved of all claims, liability, damages, losses,
costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising from such action.
Illicit/Prohibited Items:
A member may not post for sale any item considered illegal by British
Law or one which they do not own full title rights to. Refer to the study-trader.com
directory for examples of illicit items.
Removal by Member and/or study-trader.com:
A seller has the right to withdraw a listing at any time. study-trader.com
has the power to dismiss a seller's listing and membership if it is deemed illicit or challenges the
regulations set forth.
This website does not guarantee continuous on line access.
Trading Information:
The seller/swapper agrees to provide accurate and representative information
about the item for sale/swap. The description is not to be offensive,
threatening or indecent and may not use copyright material. The seller/swapper
must have immediate possession of and own full title rights to the item.
Should an item or items be swapped, this counts as an act of trade and all buying and selling Rules
and Regulations are apparent and must be adhered to. As with all items bought and sold
study-trader.com accepts no liability for the reasons stated under limitation
of liability and dispute resolution. For these reasons it is recommended that when “swapping” a meeting is arranged prior to
any transaction to compare goods.
Data Protection:
Upon registration a members personal information will be securely
stored. study-trader.com will not disclose any details to a third party.
Potential buyers will be able to leave a message for a seller through the
website and such information will only be accessible after a member
signs-in. Telephone numbers and email addresses can be posted but only at
the members discretion. study-trader.com may use the registered email
address to notify a member of any updates, special offers or changes on the
website.
Contributions:
If a member chooses to contribute print or photographic material to the
website study-trader.com reserves the power to change or dismiss this at
any time. It is the members responsibility to ensure that all information
uploaded is original and not copyright, illegal or offensive.
Limitation of Liability and Dispute Resolution:
study-trader.com can not be held accountable for any economic loss;
damage to reputation, person or property resulting from the use of the
websites service. study-trader.com asks members to report any misconduct.
An investigation by study-trader.com does not in any way replace that done by a members local law enforcement.
